Booking Terms and Conditions for Loulabelle’s Jungle

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with Loulabelle’s Jungle. By confirming your booking, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.​

​1. Booking and Confirmation

 

1.1 Bookings can be made via our website, email, or phone.

1.2 A 20% deposit must be paid within one week of booking to secure the date. The booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.

1.3 The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the event. Payments must be made via bank transfer.

 

2. Deposits and Cancellations

 

2.1 The 20% deposit is non-refundable. However, if sufficient notice is provided, we can rearrange your booking for another date.

2.2 If Loulabelle’s Jungle needs to cancel your booking due to exceptional circumstances, the deposit will be refunded in full.

2.3 Cancellations made by the client must be made a minimum of 7 days before the event. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice may incur additional charges if expenses have been incurred.

 

3. Payments

 

3.1 Payment of the 20% deposit must be made via bank transfer within one week of booking.

3.2 The outstanding balance must be paid via bank transfer on the day of the event.

3.3 Late payments may result in the cancellation of your booking.

 

4. Event Requirements

 

4.1 The client must ensure the venue is safe, secure, and suitable for the animals and Loulabelle’s Jungle staff.

4.2 Adequate space, lighting, and temperature control must be provided to ensure animal welfare.

4.3 The client must inform us in advance of any potential risks, including allergies or fears among attendees.

 

5. Animal Welfare and Interaction

 

5.1 The welfare of our animals is our top priority. Animals may be removed from the event or interaction if they show signs of stress or discomfort.

5.2 Loulabelle’s Jungle reserves the right to substitute animals with different ones if necessary due to welfare considerations, such as shedding, hormonal changes, or seasonal factors.

5.3 Attendees must follow all instructions provided by Loulabelle’s Jungle staff when interacting with animals.

5.4 Any intentional harm caused to animals or equipment will result in immediate termination of the event without a refund.

 

6. Health and Safety

 

6.1 Working with animals naturally comes with some risks, including the possibility of bites, scratches, or other minor injuries. Loulabelle’s Jungle has strict policies in place to mitigate these risks, and our staff are trained in emergency first aid.

6.2 Hand sanitiser will be provided during visits. However, we strongly recommend that all attendees wash their hands thoroughly with warm water and soap after interacting with the animals to mitigate the risk of zoonotic diseases.

6.3 Loulabelle’s Jungle carries full public liability insurance. However, the client is responsible for ensuring attendees follow safety guidelines.

6.4 Attendees must not handle animals without supervision. Loulabelle’s Jungle is not liable for injuries caused by attendee negligence.

 

7. Inclusivity

 

7.1 Loulabelle’s Jungle strives to accommodate all disabilities and neurodivergent needs to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.

7.2 As every person is different, we ask that you inform us of any additional needs or requirements in advance, so we can make suitable adjustments and accommodate your child in the best possible way.

 

8. Photography and Media

 

8.1 Loulabelle’s Jungle reserves the right to take photographs during the event for promotional purposes unless the client specifies otherwise in writing.

8.2 Clients and attendees are welcome to take photos, provided they do not use flash photography, which may distress the animals.

 

9. Force Majeure

 

9.1 Loulabelle’s Jungle is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, illness, or transport disruptions.

 

10. Complaints

 

10.1 Any complaints regarding the event should be made in writing within 7 days of the event. We will aim to resolve issues promptly and professionally.

 

11. Governing Law

 

11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. Any disputes will be resolved under English jurisdiction.
